Colton

Colton is a wonderful 7 month old light blond neutered male. His mom and dad asked us to find a more active home for him. This young man is completely house and crate trained and is learning to play within a pack.  He loves puppies, no wonder, he is still a puppy himself.  He has to learn how to be comfortable riding in a car.  He has to be picked up and put in and cries during the trip.  He is learning to walk on lead and some basic commands. Colton retrieves just about anything, including the newspaper and loves to please his humans. He will need to continue his education with obedience school. A 5' physical fence is a necessity. Playing ball and being brushed are 2 of his most favorite things.

Bruno

Meet Bruno, who is a 5 year neutered Golden male rescued from being chained to a tree for about 8 months. This left him with a hot spot on the underside of his neck which is responding well to treatment and should be completely healed within the next month. Completely crate and house trained, he has proven to be a very gentle man. He has acclimated well to his foster brothers and sisters. He is doing very well on short lead training. He has learned to sit with hand and voice and his "downs" are doing much better. He loves to play ball, but better than this is chasing water in the creek, which is also his favorite place to nap. He is high energy Golden who will require long walks, jogging or cross country running would even be better. More than eating or napping is his love of riding in the car. It's his favorite thing other than being petted. If he could do both at the same time...this would be absolute heaven! Bruno loves his humans of all shapes and sizes who will love and brush him indefinitely.

Reeves

Reeves is a new intake from a shelter,  We think he is 6 year old.  He is a very calm loving Golden we operates in slow motion.   He is being evaluated to determine if his problem is orthopedic or muscular.  If he moves to much his rear becomes very weak and his legs go out from under him.    Reeves would like some Foster Buddies to help with his medical expenses.

Bailey Boy

Bailey was an owner surrender due to allergies.   He is a very sweet 4 1/2 year old Golden.  He is a new intake and we are getting to know him.

Dutch

Meet Dutch,  a wonderful 9 year old neutered male, who was turned in to us because "he digs".  Since arriving in his foster home he has experienced a new world of peace and a place to call home.  Dutch was an outside dog, and when he came to us he was covered in ticks which are now all gone.  Dutch likes to sun bath and receive as much petting as he can handle, which is never enough.  He's also learned to play with other dogs in his foster home. His front teeth are worn pretty well down, but it doesn't hinder his eating ability.  Since he was turned in to us for digging, we've been watching him for this - not one hole.  He's a very strong Senior and has a tendency to pull on lead.  Dutch is a very gentle soul.  He would love to spend his life in an easy access swimming pool or pond or just being able to be petted any time he chooses.  Until he settled into his foster home, he was anxious with pacing and panting but after 7 days, he's calmed into his new routine with little difficulty.

Gus

Gus is a gentle boy who has some special needs and hopes for a very special home to love him as he is. Gus likes to be petted, and his tail gently wags most of the time. He is a large red-colored Golden, probably around 7 years old. He is a handsome boy, with irresistible big brown eyes. He has had some epileptic seizures which are currently controlled by phenobarbitol. He is a little slow at comprehending things sometimes (perhaps due to neurological damage from prior seizures before coming to rescue). However, Gus enjoys life with his foster family and is very happy. He likes being with other dogs. Gus would like his very own family who will take care of him and appreciate his warmth.
