Fletcher

Male Golden
Mix

Hi, I'm Fletcher! I'm a smallish Golden mix. I used to be a farm dog in rural, Mo, but that all changed when my family moved to the city. Lucky for me, Love a Golden found out what a handsome guy I am and came and rescued me. I've learned so much so far in my foster home - The first week, I learned what treats were! The second month, I learned how to play with toys! The fourth month, I learned to go down stairs, which was a big fear of mine! The fifth month, I learned to sit (still working on that one!) and I also learned how wonderful those cushy dog beds are! My foster parents say I'm a delight to take on a walk (compared to my brother who's a maniac on leash!). You may notice that one of my eyes looks different. Turns out I had some sort of trauma back on the farm and now that eye is blind but I don't let that stop me from playing. Basically, I bump into things sometimes because I can't see them, but other than that, I get along just fine. Because I lived on a farm, I love to be outside, so my forever family must have a fence so I can run and play. I really love to have people around because I'm a great cuddlier, but if they're busy I'm content to go take a nap or lay in the sun.
