Happy Endings

April 2003 - June 2003

These are some of our adopted Goldens
who have gone on to their new homes!

Kayla

Crystal (who is now named Kayla) is a lively, large, young Golden girl. Kayla is now enjoying learning lots of new things in her new home. She is being trained for obedience showing, and we look forward to seeing her compete in obedience with her 8 year old owner.

Edy

Not so long ago, the future didn't look very bright for Freedom (who is now named Edy). She was an unclaimed stray at a shelter, was heartworm positive, and frightened the shelter manager with her exuberant jumping to be petted. A caring volunteer from an all-breed rescue saw her and pulled her from the shelter. We treated her for heartworm. A professional trainer worked with her to teach her what no one had ever bothered to teach her before. Edy is now very happy in a loving home where she gets lots of attention and where they are planning to continue her obedience training.

Ashley

Ashley is a loving girl, who came to us after being turned in by her owner who could no longer care for her. She was nervous in the beginning with all of the changes, but quickly became a great girl. Ashley was so lucky to find a loving home with a huge yard and a couple of kids to love forever.

Winner

Winner loves to give kisses and to play ball (and entertains his family by lying on his back, playing with the ball). Winner had an infection in a rear foot for some time before coming to rescue. There's been permanent damage to his rear leg and foot, but he doesn't let that keep him from having fun running and playing, and he has found a family who loves him
 as he is.

Bernie

Bernie is as sweet as he looks and has found a home where he can share his love.

Daisy Lou

Daisy Lou is a sweet girl who loves to play soccer by pouncing on the soccer ball and rolling it around the yard. She is very lucky to have found a loving home who has seen her through some unexpected medical problems and is providing her the time and attention she craves.

Mitzey

Mitzey is a very lucky girl to have found a loving home where she gets lots of attention and can continue to blossom. Mitzey has what appear to be seasonal allergies and her special home is taking great care of her.

Walton

Little Walton was rescued by caring person when he was being given away out of the back of a truck in a store's parking lot. He has gone from that to a very loved member of a family who will be teaching him what every pup needs to know as he grows up.

Sadie Mae

Sadie Mae is having a great time in her new home with lots of love and play time. She will be attending obedience class and will no doubt enjoy that experience.

Autumn

Autumn is having lots of fun with her new family. She's a very sweet little red girl who came to us as a stray from a shelter. Now she has her own family to love.

Sonny

Here is a picture which Sonny's adoptive family sent us & they report that he is doing well, continuing to lose weight, getting compliments on his fluffy coat, & in intermediate dog obedience class. In the pics, he is on the left hand side. The other dog is their other dog Morgan..

Shane

Shane is having a great time getting lots of snuggling in his new home.  He so wants to be loved and he has found a home where he can get all the love he wants.
