Minnie came to Love a
Golden rescue with nine adorable puppies from a puppy mill. She came to
her foster home once the puppies were weaned. She is doing very well and
is learning all about being a house dog. She clearly loves attention and
plays well with her new doggie friends. She’s learning to walk well on a
leash and gain confidence in new situations. She loves her crate and will
require her forever home to be willing to continue using one. That is her
security for now. Given a little time and patience she will make someone a
wonderful forever friend. Update –
5/1/08 - Minnie is doing extremely well in
foster care. She is totally housetrained and we are working on some basic
obedience. She loves to play with her pal Buddy. They wrestle
and chase each other in the yard. She still likes her crate but is
spending more time in the evening with us. When she’s relaxed she will lay
with her paws crossed and looks very regal!
