Tobi's adopted family writes "We fell in love with Tobi the first time we saw her. We adopted her when she was 13, and she spent 8 wonderful months with us before she died April 6, 2007, of cancer in the liver and spleen. She was the most amazing 13-year-old dog, so full of energy and so adventuresome! It was only in the last few weeks of her life that she started to slow down and we knew something was wrong. With a very heavy heart, we said good-bye. We loved her so much and thought she would live with us a long time. Tobi will forever be in our hearts, and we are so grateful to Love a Golden Rescue for bringing Tobi into our lives."
 

Cassie

Cassie was a gentle Golden girl who loved everyone she met.  She was very lucky to come to rescue when she needed extensive medical care.  She enjoyed a number of months in a wonderful foster home where she was very loved and received needed medical care.  Very sadly, things did not turn out as we all wished that they would.  Cassie was needed at the Bridge and left us all too soon.  She is very much missed by her foster family and all of us who met her and knew her for the wonderful dog she was. 

Trudy

Trudy's gentle spirit made her a delightful companion. She was a senior girl who was given up because her owner was deployed in the military and the remaining family could not keep her. She was a pleasure to foster. Trudy, we love you and miss you.
