Finley is estimated to be a 10 year old mostly lab with a golden heart.  He is a gentle, big boy at almost 90 lbs.  Finley is very well housebroken, does very well with other dogs and cats, and just a big teddy bear of love.  He likes to be close to his family but he is not clingy - he just to keep them in sight.  Finley is extremely affectionate and does very well around children as well.  He can be left free to roam the house during the day with no issues (very well housebroken,  and no chewing furniture or other objects).  You can leave him alone knowing your house will look just like it did when you left.  He is a bit hard of hearing and his hips are typical for a dog of his size and age.  At first, in a new home, he will pant a bit but settles down nicely after a few days - the panting is just the stress of moving to new home.  He walks very well on a leash, but should have a fenced in yard as when he is free he has a tendency to roam a bit, not far, but he does not understand boundaries.  He will not run off on you, you would just have to walk over to him and tell him to come inside, or heal, and he will follow well with no leash.
